You want to see him importing “coffee,” fighting and making up with Carly (Laura Wright), manly bonding with Jason (Steve Burton), and fathering every child in town, then making sure they’re raised properly – in his house. He better come back quickly and show everyone who is (mob) boss!

We like it, 12% of the audience cheers. It’s fresh! It’s different! We feel like we’ve seen Sonny be the same old Sonny for decades now. We know the drill: Bad mobsters come to town to challenge good mobster. Sonny and Jason fight back. Sonny and Jason win.
A new woman comes to town. Sonny sleeps with her. Sonny impregnates her. Sonny remembers that Carly is the love of his life. Sonny goes back to Carly. They add child to their collection.
The only time that routine ever gets broken up is if Brenda (Vanessa Marcil) flits back into town. Then, Sonny forgets his great love for Carly and remembers his great love for Brenda. It’s all great for a few months until it isn’t. Exit Brenda, return Carly.
