The holiday season is a mad dash to get last-minute gifts, solidify travel plans, and make time for the people you love. Soap Hub rounded up some of your General Hospital favorites to find out more about their favored holiday recipes and traditions as 2021 comes to a close.

General Hospital Stars Reveal Favorite Recipes And Traditions

Find out what GH cast members Genie Francis (Laura Collins), Kathleen Gati (Liesl Obrecht), Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), Sydney Mikayla (Trina Robinson), and Sonya Eddy (Epiphany Johnson) are looking forward to this holiday season and beyond.

Favorite holiday recipe?

Genie Francis: The holiday recipe would be turkey and gravy, mine is a secret!

Kathleen Gati: Something simple. Maybe my savory corn muffins from my last event?

Bradford Anderson: EGG NOG! My grandfather used to make it every year on Christmas Eve. I tried to find a store-bought version my whole adult life that would taste as good, and never succeeded. So now I make it myself every year and introduce as many people to it as possible.

Sydney Mikayla: I don’t necessarily have a favorite holiday recipe, but I do love a good cup of hot chocolate made with almond milk and maybe a bit of non-dairy whip on top.

Sonya Eddy: Something simple. My Aunt Louise always makes a yellow cake with chocolate icing. I don’t know what she does to it, but it’s the best cake I get to eat all year! My mom used to make a rum cake, which was a VERY close second choice. We weren’t allowed to have that one until we turned 21! LOL! I was always banished from the kitchen when either of these was being made, so I don’t have a recipe for either one.

General Hospital Stars Reveal Their Favorite Holiday Traditions

Genie Francis: I love that my kids still come home and sleep over and wake up here on Christmas morning.

Kathleen Gati: Make Lebanese food, watch Hallmark movies, and put lots of puzzles together!

Bradford Anderson: Growing up our large family would gather at my grandparents’ house for Christmas Eve. So many aunts, uncles, and cousins…Santa would come and it truly was the best day of the year. Amazingly, my wife’s version of that still happens. Her grandmother (my children’s great-grandmother) still hosts and the night is full of wonderful traditions that I’m so grateful my kids are experiencing.

Sydney Mikayla: We always share our stockings and watch a movie together on Christmas Eve, so I look forward to seeing how many goodies we can all squeeze into each others’ stockings. I also love checking out Christmas lights in and around the city.

Sonya Eddy: When I was a little girl, we were allowed to pick two gifts to open on Christmas Eve. Everyone would put their PJs on and we’d get our gifts and tear into them like crazy people. The idea was to get as much wrapping paper all over the house as possible! Maybe that’s why Mom and Dad would have Irish coffees? LOL.

Special thanks to those General Hospital fan favorites who were a part of our holiday round-up of burning questions. Soap Hub extends the warmest of wishes to all the daytime fans this holiday season. May your holidays bring you everything you need and more!
