On General Hospital, at any given time, half the town doesn’t know who their biological father is, and the other half aren’t so certain about their allegedly biological child.
It was no surprise when Ava (Maura West) slept with father and son, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Morgan (Bryan Craig), with a few days of each other, turned up pregnant, and didn’t know who the Daddy was. (Alas, either way the baby was a Corinthos, which promised much shouting and throwing of glassware.)
Sonny won the sweepstakes. Sonny always wins the sweepstakes. Has there been a single baby where the parentage was in doubt and Sonny didn’t come out the winner? Heck, everybody knew AJ was Michael’s (Chad Duell) bio dad, and Sonny still won!
But what if the tables were to turn? What if little Avery turns out to be Morgan’s, after all? Almost 19000 fans weighed in!

Sonny Is On the Money
Keep her Sonny’s, 60% argue. She’s been living with him most of her life and, besides, there’s no drama, since Morgan is presumed dead. It’s not like a change in paternity would even help Ava get her little girl back. She’d still be Sonny’s – and now Carly’s, too – flesh and blood. They’d probably hold onto her even tighter, since she’d be their last connection to Morgan. Ava would probably never see her child again!
Twist It Up
On the other hand, 40% of you love the idea of this twist. It’s about time Sonny learned he doesn’t have the fastest sperm in the business! Other people can impregnate, too!
And if Morgan comes back… and we all know Morgan will eventually come back… it will up the drama. Maybe Morgan will blame his parents for some of the calamities that befell him. Maybe he’ll want his daughter away from the dangerous mob life. Wouldn’t that be something?
