Who will figure out Esme's GH secret?
Esme Prince finally remembered the evil person she used to be on General Hospital. And she’s kind of into it. A new evil thing to do would be to keep pretending she still has amnesia while doing more evil things. That’s our Esme! Who’ll see through her act first?
Nikolas did terrible things to Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). What better way to make himself look better than by making her look worse? Surely, exposing her lies will totes erase him kidnapping and locking her up, no?
Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) has been dying to get his little brother, Ace, away from Esme. What a shame she’s a good mother. But, proving that she’s bad in other ways should be just his ticket to custody. We hope Trina (Tabyana Ali) doesn’t mind playing Mommy to a kid who isn’t hers.
Laura (Genie Francis) was sympathetic to Esme. Not just because she’s her grandson’s mother, but because Laura knows what it’s like to make mistakes. She gave Esme the benefit of the doubt. And, Esme took advantage of that. Or, if she didn’t before, she definitely will now. While Nikolas and Spencer are dumb, Laura isn’t dumb. She’ll notice something isn’t right, and then she’ll do more than see that Esme is punished. She’ll see that Esme feels bad about what she did. That’s the real punishment.
Trina is smart, too. She never gave Esme the benefit of the doubt. And, she doesn’t care about Esme feeling bad. She cares about Esme being punished. Esme filmed Cam (William Lipton) and Joss (Eden McCoy) having sex, released the video… and let Trina take the blame. Now that she remembers doing it, she can be punished for doing it. Trina has been looking for the opportunity to bring Esme to her knees, and she finally has one. She’s the most motivated. So she’ll be the first to see what others can’t.
