Peter August has proven he’s not easy to get rid of on General Hospital. He survived that near-tragic fall down the stairs, being locked away in a freezer, several shootings, kidnappings, beatings, and an almost drowning after jumping off a cliff. We imagine Peter feels pretty immortal at this point. But, all good (err bad) things must come to an end and it’s time Peter dies once and for all.
We all agree Peter (Wes Ramsey) must go down once and for all. Who gets the honor though? We have some ideas for who should get that crown. Peter is a monster and has done some very bad things to some very good people.
Let’s start with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Peter’s obsession with her is unnerving at best and now she has baby Louise to protect. Poor Maxie has lost way too much time with her darling daughter after hiding her in plain sight. Maxie definitely deserves retribution for all Peter has put her through.
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) also tops our list. She lost her only son because of Peter and just look at how much he has put her through since — including framing her for his crimes. Heck, her own recent shooting was because of Peter too. Liesl has lost too much and she should be allowed to get her revenge.
Speaking of having lost too much — what about Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) — Peter murdered her husband, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), who was the father figure her three sons needed and the true partner she’d always dreamed of. Peter took that. He needs to die and she definitely deserves a chance to take her shot.
That brings us to General Hospital’s Drew Cane (Cameron Mathison) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). These men have each lost years and years of their lives at Peter’s hand. They were presumed dead and locked away with Peter pulling all the strings. Heck, he even used them as his own personal killing machines. These brothers each could use some closure.
Speaking of brothers, what about Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). The recent poisoning nearly killed Chase and was meant for Finn. These men should get five minutes alone with the baddie for some serious payback.
No matter who gets to him first, we hope Peter suffers a long and terrible death. Whether it’s one of the people we’d like to see or some other player like the Corinthos family, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and his mobsters, or a Faison minion, Peter definitely deserves what’s coming to him.
