General Hospital Is Flirting With A Fresh Story…And We Love It

The budding friendship between Alexis Davis and Harmony Miller on General Hospital has fans talking — mostly because it looks like it is turning into something more. Much, much more. If they are heading down the daytime road less traveled, we hope they do it right and give these ladies, and the storyline, the justice they deserve.

General Hospital: Love Is Love

Can friends turn into lovers? Yes. It happens all the time. But, what if it’s between two women – one of whom is already a grandma a couple of times over and has always been with men? Also, yes. Albeit less often, but it does happen. Should it happen between Harmony (Inga Cadranel) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn)? Absolutely!

GH: A Winning Combination

While this could be a shock to the system for Alexis fans, we don’t know much about Harmony’s past. She was an intricate part of Dawn of Day’s recruitment tactics, so it’s safe to assume there was some seduction involved. It wouldn’t surprise us if Harmony had her hands on the newcomers. Maybe she even had a bit of a harem of her own.

Now, she’s free from DOD, free from jail, and getting her life back on track. It’s not easy but helping others, like Alexis, is giving her a reason to chase the light instead of darkness. She’s in a good place and we can see it getting even better if these sparks with Alexis turn into a burning hot fire.

This would be great for Alexis too. However, certain things need to happen before one of the women makes their move. We need to see Alexis sit down and have an honest and deep look at herself and her past romances. Is the reason she was never truly lucky in love because she was with the wrong men or the wrong gender altogether?

General Hospital: Every Move Counts

If GH does pair Alexis and Harmony, we hope this is a slow-burn love story that paves the way for a long and happy partnership. We’d like to see the storyline play out organically without any rush or expectations or devastating twists. Let these women find true happiness with each other after finding it in themselves.
