General Hospital is joining The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful in re-airing classic episodes as its stock of original programming will be exhausted later this month due to the coronavirus crisis causing a production halt. Watch for a series of classic rebroadcasts of Nurses Ball episodes in a few weeks.
General Hospital Music And Dance
Starting the week of Monday, May 25 through Friday, May 29, according to TV Insider, viewers can expect to see Nurses Ball shows from the last six years. The first five programs will be sets of consecutive episodes from 2014 and 2015.
On Monday, May 25, viewers will see the Nurses Ball kick off with an unexpected interruption during the opening number, as well as a surprise proposal! Musical performances include the original number Welcome to the Nurses Ball performed by Epiphany (Sonya Eddy), Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Sabrina (Teresa Castillo), and Felix (Marc Anthony Samuel). Watch for a special performance of Willkommen from Cabaret by Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
On Tuesday, May 26, Luke (Anthony Geary) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) take the next step in their relationship. Meanwhile, Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) convinces his father Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) to attend the Ball.
Musical performances on the show include Raise Your Glass by Pink, performed by Kiki (Kristen Alderson) and her pals: Elizabeth, Lucas (Ryan Carnes), T.J. (Tequan Richmond), and Felix. “Eddie Maine” AKA Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will perform You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth. Additionally, Luke will sing I Am What I Am.
Also, watch for “Magic” Milo (Drew Cheetwood) and the Magic Wands to strip. This routine will include Nathan (Ryan Paevey), Lucas, Felix, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and T.J.
On Wednesday, May 27, Spencer begs for another chance with Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) tells Nikolas she still loves him. Also, Scott (Kin Shriner) tells Lucy (Lynn Herring) that she made a mistake choosing Kevin (Jon Lindstrom).
Musical numbers include Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) performing Brokenhearted. Additionally, Sam (Kelly Monaco), Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Molly (Haley Pullos), and Lulu (Emme Rylan), and Kiki — AKA The Haunted Starlets — perform the original song Criminal Love (by Eddie Gomez).
On Thursday, May 28, the action shifts to 2015 when Brad proposes to Lucas. Meanwhile, the truth about Ric (Rick Hearst) and Hayden (Rebecca Budig) is revealed. Musical performances include the opening number by Epiphany, Elizabeth, Sabrina, Felix, and others. Dr. O will sing 99 Red Balloons while Brad sings Marry You.
Closing out the week is an episode also from 2015 in which Duke (Ian Buchanan) orders a hit on Jordan (Vinessa Antoine). Meanwhile, Spencer gets a surprise visit from a loved one. Elizabeth pleads with Nikolas to keep the truth about ‘Jason’ (Billy Miller) between them.
Watch for performances from “Eddie Maine” (Ned) who will sing Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) sings It Might Be You, and You Are Not Alone will be performed by Epiphany and Sabrina.
