The Pearson family has had their fair share of issues over the years, but they always manage to come together and support one another when it matters most. But, in this flashback video from Season 2 of This Is Us, that’s not exactly the case.
While Kevin (Justin Hartley) is in rehab for alcohol addiction, his family comes to visit and attend a therapy session with him. Not only does Kevin reveal he’s resentful of his family, Randall (Sterling K. Brown) tries to defend their mother over their childhood.
“I’ve held my tongue while you whined about your childhood. A childhood which I was there for, by the way, which I bore witness to. Your football tosses on the lawn with Dad, your tummy rubs from Mom when you had a fever,” Randall says. Watch the whole video to see their entire blowup with one another.
