Tim McGraw rocks a white tux paired with a black cowboy hat. Faith Hill has donned a shiny purple gown with lots of frills. Wearing such finery, the familiar country couple argue on a deserted road as a lone limo waits.
This isn’t exactly real life. It is the opening scene of the video for the title tune, written by Ed Sheeran, Amy Wadge, Johnny McDaid and Steve Mac, of their fresh album, The Rest of Our Life.
This is the first time the married superstars have recorded an album together. Too bad. Country crooners to the hilt, Hill and McGraw are as harmonious as it gets in this debut disc that drops in its entirety on Nov. 17.
The fresh single and the aforementioned music video have already drawn plenty of attention as fans eagerly await the album’s arrival.
Looking ahead, The Rest of Our Life will also include 10 more tracks. There’s Telluride by Jon Randall and Jessi Alexander, The Bed We Made by Lori McKenna, Liz Rose and Hillary Lindsey and Love Me to Lie by Hayley Warner, Maureen McDonald and Nathan Chapman, to name three more.
All of the songs on The Rest of Our Life resonate for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as each tells an aspect of their life together as man and wife.
