They met through mutual friends back in 2007 and began dating right away. This came about a year after Bloom officially ended things with his on-and-off girlfriend, actress Kate Bosworth. Bloom and Kerr were very private for the first year of their relationship and didn’t make their public debut until 2008 during Sydney’s Doncaster Day at Randwick Racecourse.

The Engagement
Nearly three years into their relationship, news broke in July of 2010 that Bloom had popped the question to the Victoria’s Secret model. In fact, Bloom asked Kerr to marry him with a nearly 4-carat flower-shaped diamond ring that reportedly cost $65,000.
