Wheel of Fortune viewers are clever. You can’t put anything past them. They noticed something new about Season 43 of the game show, which is currently in production. Maggie Sajak, Vanna White, and Ryan Seacrest are all back on the show, and it feels as if nothing has changed. However, fans are noticing subtle changes on the set.

The Happy Place

Earlier this week, the official Instagram account for Wheel of Fortune shared a video of everyone back on set for Season 43. The caption read, “Back in our happy place. 🥰” Maggie Sajak kicked things off by shouting with each of the crew members, “We’re back!” Hosts Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White also shouted, “We’re back!” alongside Sajak.

Then, Sajak took fans around the set, including the set, where fans noticed a subtle change to the classic wheel. Fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the new set. “Wait, is that a new wedge I see on the wheel?” one person asked. “Yeah, and it looks like it reads, ‘Year of Fun’ on top. I could be wrong, though,” another person responded.

New Wedge

The “Year of Fun” wedge sat on top of the $500 wedge, and the wedge next to it was even harder to read. The popular game show is finding clever ways for contestants to win, and Wheel watchers are looking forward to the other changes this season.

The wedges on the wheel give away cash, prizes, trips, and other special things. They are created for the week’s theme. There are also the typical wedges, which include “Bankrupt,” “One Million Dollars,” and “Wildcard,” which are always on the wheel. One major change coming to WoF, along with Jeopardy!, is that it will stream on Peacock and Hulu for the first time ever.
