Hallmark is officially leaving Peacock less than a year after the media giant launched its streaming service, Hallmark+. However, this news might come as a shock to fans who have yet to subscribe to another streaming platform.
Goodbye, Peacock
On Tuesday, April, TVLine reported that Peacock and Hallmark are ending their three-year relationship. Vulture contributing writer Josef Adalian broke the news in a Bluesky post. That means all of your favorite content will disappear on May 1.
The arrangement started in 2022. At the time, an insider called it “a successful partnership.” In September 2024, Hallmark debuted its streaming service, Hallmark+. This decision was successful for the media company. Hallmark noticed that fans wanted more original shows and movies.
However, some of these decisions haven’t been without their share of criticism. In November 2024, Hallmark announced it would move Season 3 of The Way Home to Hallmark+. This upset those who still weren’t subscribed to the streaming service. An online petition led the company to reverse its decision. Season 3 of The Way Home premiered in January 2025.

All the current seasons of your favorite shows are on the platform. Meanwhile, the 2024 Countdown to Christmas movies are available to watch if you’re already in the holiday spirit.
Every original movie that premieres on Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is available to stream the following day. Hallmark+ costs $7.99 per month or $79.99 annually.
