The Way Home will conclude its third season on Friday, March 7. Hallmark fans are demanding a fourth season, and they started an online petition to make it happen. Now, the show’s creators are speaking out about this offline drama.
Demands For a Fourth Season
Several petitions for Season 4 of The Way Home have been created. However, one in particular has been gaining traction. Fans used the platform Change.org to make this change happen. The petition’s creator dubbed the drama a “beloved television show” known for its “captivating storylines and character development.”
The poster argued that the show has been topping the Nielsen ratings. It’s among the most popular shows on the Hallmark Channel, including When Calls the Heart. Fans are calling for the network to release a fourth season. They don’t want Season 3 to end on a cliffhanger. The petition already has over 9,000 supporters.

The Show’s Creators Respond
In a new interview on Wednesday, March 5, the show’s creators, Heather Conkie and Alexandra Clarke, responded to the demands. In an interview with Collider, they admitted that they had noticed the online petitions. They are grateful for the fans’ support and hope that the petitions will guide the show’s future. “It’s been so incredible seeing the fan reaction this season,” Clarke explained. “It really touched us. They’re putting petitions up… I just think it’s so, so kind and so amazing, and we’re so flattered.”
Just a year ago, in March 2024, Hallmark renewed The Way Home for a third season. The announcement happened when the show had two episodes left in the season. Fans noticed the network had been mum on a fourth-season renewal. They hope these petitions will encourage the execs to make the right decision. In the meantime, The Way Home wraps up its third season on Friday, March 7, at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark. New episodes are available to stream the following day on Hallmark+.
