Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos defied soap operas and Hollywood. Their marriage is one of the strongest. However, they have considered that it could someday end. On the Monday, August 25 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, the couple shared their requirements for a potential second spouse.
Wild Dream Scenario
According to a report via Swooon, Ripa kicked things off on Monday’s live show by sharing her crazy requirements. She told Consuelos that if they weren’t together, she would explain that her next husband would have to have “one foot and one arm in the grave.” Ripa added to her list, saying, “He has to have severe ED [erectile dysfunction], severe, and at least six billion dollars. And no heirs. I don’t want any kids that are angry, you know, coming out of the woodwork to challenge me in court.”

The All My Children alum joked that this imaginary second spouse’s ED would be so severe that “no medication can bring it back to work.” Ripa admitted that she would enjoy her “alone” time, but would only sit at his bedside and bring him a drink. “I’m not asking for much. I don’t want him to be younger,” she added.
What About The Husband?
Consuelos shared his “dream scenario” for his next spouse. He admitted that he would be “like all the ladies in Southern Italy,” who wear black and mourn their first spouses. “I would mourn the loss. … I’m assuming you passed away, ’cause why would you ever leave?'”

Ripa wanted to know how old his next wife would be. “You divide your age by two and then add seven. That’s the youngest you can go, respectfully,” Consuelos joked. “I would have to date her billionaire grandfather. But he has a grandchild, so he would be out of the running,” Ripa responded.
