With an archive that stretches back 17 years and contains some 390 odd episodes, NCIS is a show with a treasured, complicated history both onscreen and off. Below are 10 series related conundrums that only the most knowledgeable of fans will be able to crack. How much do you know about NCIS? Then scroll to the end to see if you were right!
.) A trio of NCIS characters – Gibbs, DiNozzo and Abby – made their debuts in a two-part episode of JAG (Judge Advocate General) a popular CBS program that aired on that network between 1997 and 2005.
.) A. Perrette earned her forensics degree from Jon Jay College of Criminal Justice.
.). Five. There were apparently three vessels built prior to the show’s pilot episode, and they were followed by a ship that was built (onscreen) over the course of Seasons 1-6. Gibbs has worked on a further two boats since the commencement of Season 7.
.) Four. His first wife, Shannon Fielding was murdered, and his subsequent unions to Diane Sterling, Rebecca Chase, and Stephanie Flynn all ended in divorce.
.) C. Weatherly was cut out of his father’s will at the age of 12 when he decided to pursue a career in the acting field.
.) B. Murray is Bellisario’s step-son.
.) Thom E. Gemcity
.) False. During the show’s first year, the title was displayed as NAVY NCIS. But since the N featured in the acronym actually stands for Navy, the supplementary word was excised beginning in Season 2.
.) B. Mossad
.) Coincidences
NCIS will return to the CBS schedule on Tuesday nights beginning Fall 2020. Check your local listings for airtimes.
