Owen Hunt isn’t leaving Grey’s Anatomy, but he is leaving Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, at least for now! While he has been butting heads with the new guy in charge, an intriguing offer comes along to save him.

In this highlight video from this week’s episode, Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) run into Tom Koracick (Greg Germann) on their way out of the hospital.

Tom reveals surprising news to Owen but Owen has his own shocking news. “I’m dropping the restraining order. We need every good doctor we can get, so I’m taking the high road. You can have your job back,” Tom says.

Splitting Hairs

“Well thanks, but you didn’t fire me, I quit. And I have already taken a job at a very up-and-coming area hospital,” Owen responds, explaining he’s taken a job at Pac North with Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) and Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.).
