Diona Reasonover Captures Sweet Mark Harmon NCIS Backstage Moment

Kasie Hines shared a surprisingly sweet moment with Leroy Jethro Gibbs during last night’s tense episode of NCIS, but another great moment was shared between the two actors off-screen.

A Special Backstage NCIS Moment

Diona Reasonover, who portrays Hines, posted a rare series of videos of Harmon demonstrating how to tie a tie backstage in between scenes. Not only are the clips hilarious, they’re even more special because Harmon is rarely seen on social media and doesn’t have any accounts of his own.

The moment also mirrors what happened during last night’s episode, in which Gibbs taught Kasie how to tie a tie so she could help her friend with his before going on a very important job interview.

A Very Special NCIS
The team really came through for her personally and professionally when they were able to prevent that same pal from going to jail for murder, as he never received fair treatment from the system prior to this.

Needless to say, Harmon’s tie-instructions didn’t stop when the camera stopped rolling and it was caught by Reasonover, who captioned the video, “Special #behindthescenes from tonight’s #ncis. 👔 Loved this moment.”

“See when you wrap it, that’s going to be the front of your tie. When you come over to the top and go around,” Harmon shares backstage as he tries to teach what you to do next.

“Hold it, but keep pulling it down,” Harmon jokes with him as he tries to situate his tie on his neck. “You have to pay attention to how you wrap it because that’s the front of your tie.”

Behind-The-Scenes Interview

Following the lesson, Reasonover jokingly interviewed the guy backstage at NCIS. “Mark Harmon taught me how to tie a tie. But in all honesty he didn’t help that much, he just kind of guided me a little and then I took it from there,” he said sarcastically.

“Really? Cause I definitely was watching and it did look like he was teaching you,” Reasonover teases back.

Harmon has been known to pull pranks backstage, but fans rarely get to see the hilarity go down. While his co-stars try to capture great moments, this video series Reasonover was able to grab is certainly something special!
