Dancing With The Stars’ Future Has Been Decided!

Dancing With the Stars fans have been on pins and needles, wondering if the show would return since it was missing from the spring lineup.

Well, they can breathe a sigh of relief! ABC has officially announced that dance competition reality series will return for season 27 this fall!

Karey Burke, ABC’s newest entertainment president, confirmed the happy news to reporters Tuesday at the semi-annual Television Critics Association in Pasadena, Calif. The show will “definitely be returning in the fall,” Burke confirmed.

Asked why the show skipped a spring season for the first time since the show’s inception, the executive noted that “That decision was made before I got here.”

DWTS is hosted by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.

Traditionally, DWTS airs live on Mondays, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on ABC.
