Bachelorette Alum Joe Amabile “Relieved” Following Dancing With The Stars Elimination

Former Bachelorette star, Joe Amabile, was just eliminated from Dancing With the Stars. But, don’t worry, there are no hard feelings.

In fact, the reality star is happy to be leaving on such a high note, and he and his partner, Jenna Johnson, opened up about the experience with Entertainment Tonight.

“I feel wonderful. No, I feel good,” he shared.

Joe and Jenna danced both a contemporary routine and a quickstep routine and ended the night with their best scores ever.

“I feel like this is our best night yet, and I’m so happy to go out on this night. I couldn’t be more proud. And I just feel so happy,” she said.

“He conquered it and we made it to the freaking semi-finals, are you kidding?”

Though Joe defied the odds and made it all the way to the semifinals, he wasn’t sure he could pull out another dance.

“I don’t know if I had another dance in me, that’s why I was kind of relieved,” he shared.

“The bottom three, Alexis [Ren] and Alan [Bersten], and Juan Pablo and Cheryl [Burke], I didn’t want to kick either of them out.”

Despite not being the best dancer on the show, the Chicago native is happy with his time on the show.

“I wouldn’t have changed anything. I’m very happy with it. I was myself the whole time,” he said.

“Do I think I’m the best dancer in the competition? No. Do I have the best smile? Probably… We thought we were going to get eliminated at week one, so I couldn’t have asked for it to go better.”

And, though they are eliminated from the competition, they will be dancing during next week’s finale episode!

“We actually have a pretty epic surprise for everyone next week. We’re not going to tell them what it is, but I think everyone’s going to want to tune in,” Jenna revealed.
