Former Bachelorette star, Shawn Booth, is breaking his silence on his split from his ex-fiancée, Kaitlyn Bristowe.
The fitness guru took to social media on Monday, November 12, to share a message about his recent breakup and to thank fans for their support.
“I just want to thank everyone who has been so supportive of my relationship with Kaitlyn over the years,” he shared.
“You’ve made me feel incredibly special, supported, and very loved. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
He continued, “It truly means a lot. And thank you to everyone who has sent their love & support during this painful time. I love you guys.”
The former couple announced their split earlier this month in a statement to People.
“This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration. Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends,” the statement said.

“We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways.”
The statement continued, “Due to the nature of how we met, our relationship has always been very public, and we have enjoyed sharing it with all of you, but we ask that you respect our decision and our privacy at this time.”
Though they both live in Nashville, Kaitlyn decided to go home to Vancouver, Canada, after the split announcement to spend some time with her friends and family.
Not to mention, she has also been recording music and is expected to drop some songs sooner rather than later.
Shawn, on the other hand, is focused on his brand-new gym that just opened up in Nashville called Booth Camp.
We’re still so sad about this breakup, but we know it is for the best!
