Bachelor Alum Amanda Stanton Reveals A Man Tried To Break Into Her Home

Stay safe, Bachelor Nation! Former Bachelor star Amanda Stanton revealed on her Instagram that a man recently tried to break into her home!

The mother of two explained the intruder even came face-to-face with her mother, who was staying at Amanda’s home.

“As you know I was on a trip with my boyfriend the past few days,” she said.

“I never really put too much thought into going out of town and posting about my trips in real time, but the past couple of weeks have been really eye opening for me that I need to take my safety in my own home more seriously.”

“I got home late last night so my mom picked up Kins from school and stopped by my house to put some packages inside. As she was about to leave out my garage, a man tried to break in through the front door.”

The good news is the man saw Amanda’s mother and ran away. He also left behind a potential weapon… with his name on it!

“He saw my mom and ran away (thank god) but dropped and left behind a flashlight with his name on it,” she said.

“It was around 3pm in broad daylight so I’m not sure if the flashlight was intended to be used for a light or potentially as a weapon.”

Not to mention, Amanda was recently followed from her home the other day when she was with her other daughter, Charlie.

“I also had paparazzi photos taken of me and Charlie at the gas station across from my house in Irvine 2 weeks ago. I didn’t see them until a couple of days ago,” she said.

“The only way to have gotten those photos were if someone followed me from my house. Not having privacy or feeling safe in your own home is one of the worst feelings.”

She continued, “Just a reminder to lock your doors, install security cameras and close your windows! Also take precautions when it comes to posting your trips on social media.”
