Dancing With the Stars fans know Bachelorette alum Joe Amabile and his pro partner Jenna Johnson aren’t the best ones out on the dance floor, but at least he’s trying his best!
The Bachelor Nation fan favorite is giving it his all every single week, even if that’s not always reflective in the scores.
Jenna opened up about this past week with Joe in a blog post to Us Weekly and explained what it was like to have Bachelor Nation star, Jordan Kimball, join in on the fun.
“When Jordan joined us, the energy was hilarious. He and Joe have such good chemistry. They have the best time together,” she explained.
“They would giggle, Jordan was showing him facial expressions from modeling. We laughed the whole time. It was so much fun. I think Jordan brought out this confidence in Joe. It was cute and I saw a shift in Joe throughout the week.”
Jenna continued, “I could see that he felt like he knew a little bit more than Jordan just because he’d been through this process. I could see Joe was trying to help Jordan with some steps and counts.”

The trio danced to “I’m Too Sexy” and seemed to have a lot of fun, but the judges were not very kind with their scores.
In fact, the group landed at the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 15 out of 30.
Despite the low scores, Jenna agreed with what the judges had to say about their routine.
“The judges’ critiques, I think they were accurate. We went up against a lot of strong trios. I wish that Joe could catch a break and just, for once, get praised,” she explained.
“But we know it’s a competition. He knows that he’s one of the weakest dancers here so we’re up for critiques and were gonna take them into every week and do our best to get better and better.”
Even though Joe isn’t the best dancer in the competition, we still enjoy seeing him giving it his all each and every week!
