Billy Flynn celebrates three years on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) today!
It’s been a whirlwind of love, tears, and drama for the actor, who made his debut as Chad in 2014. In honor of the occasion, we’ve compiled the top 10 moments from Billy Flynn’s three years in Salem.
Punchy Opener
It’s hard to forget Flynn’s first scenes opposite James Scott (ex-EJ). He greeted his TV brother with a punch to the face. But, he had a good reason. While he was away, EJ bedded Chad’s true love, Abigail.
Tryst in the Garden
Abigail (then-Kate Mansi), who had tried to ignore her feelings for Chad and move on with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), finally succumbed to passion with the man she couldn’t forget in the DiMera garden. The next morning, Chad presented her with a rose and professed his love.
It’s Too Late
After cruelly ending things with Abigail to protect her from Stefano, Chad told Abigail he’d never stopped loving her. Sadly, she announced it was too late. She was pregnant with Ben’s baby. Chad left, devastated.
Killer Setup
Chad was set up as The Necktie Killer by the real culprit, Ben, after Serena and Paige were strangled and Marlena was attacked in her office. He was arrested for murder, despite insisting he was innocent.
The Burning Bed
When Chad attempted to rescue Abigail from the cabin where she gave birth prematurely, Ben handcuffed them to a bed and set it on fire. He then took off with the newborn Thomas. Chad managed to free them both and bring the baby back to his mother.
Father and Son Reunion
After Thomas took ill, blood tests revealed Chad was his father. Abigail placed the boy in his arms, as Chad was overcome with memories of their love, counteracting Andre’s hypnosis to forget her.
Farewell Father
Learning Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) was dead crushed Chad. He had a poignant dream about sitting at…continue reading on the next page —>
The Wedding
Amidst family and friends Chad married Abigail at the DiMera mansion. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows with Chad promising to spend his life honoring and loving Abigail with everything he had in him.
Goodbye My Love
Forced to accept the fact that Abigail was “dead,” Chad mourned her loss alone in the DiMera living room. He screamed, he yelled, he threw things, and, in the end, he collapsed to the floor sobbing and clutching her photo.
She’s Alive
After deciding to move on with Gabi, Chad entered Thomas’ nursery to find Abigail (Marci Miller) standing over his crib. He stood staring at her in stunned disbelief, finally reaching out to touch her to convince himself she was really alive.
