All My Children Vet Mark LaMura Dead At 68

All My Children’s beloved Mark LaMura, who played Erica’s brother, Mark Dalton, has passed away at the age of 68 after a battle with lung cancer.

The actor played Erica’s brother Mark off and on from 1976 until 2005. Some of the actor’s finest moments on the soap was when he battled drug addiction in the 80s. You can watch some of those scenes in the video below.

Susan Lucci was shocked by his death and posted a loving tribute on Instagram on Monday night, which you can see below.

Aside from his work on AMC, LaMura also appeared in various primetime series like The Sopranos and Law and Order: Special Victim’s Unit. He also had a brief part on One Life to Live in 2007.

How can this be? I just received the shocking and deeply saddening news that wonderful Mark LaMura has passed away! Mark played my brother Mark on All My Children–he was such a talented and accomplished actor/ a bright and charming presence in all our AMC lives–and a really great guy. Mark was loved and he will be missed! RIP, my friend.????❤️????
