EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) revealed to Paulina (Jackée Harry) that Stefano (the late Joe Mascolo) froze Lexie’s (Nikki Crawford) body and is reviving her. When she got home, she kept EJ’s secret from A e (James Reynolds). Gwen (Emily O’Brien) tried swaying Melinda (Tina Huang) into representing her instead but Melinda declined. Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) caught up. Javi (Al Calderon) called Leo (Greg Rikaart) to try and reconcile, but when Javi heard Dimitri’s (Peter Porte) voice in the background, he ended the call.

Leo argued with Dimitri over what happened with Javi. Later, Leo helped Dimitri get into Vivian’s (Louise Sorel) house while Vivian’s henchman back in Salem sought out Liam (Hank Northrop). When Owen (Wes Ramsey) walked in on Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Jeremy (Michael Roark) holding hands, he freaked out. Later, Stephanie faked an I jury to get Owen to untie her and when she stole his phone and called 911, Owen found out. Brady (Eric Martsolf) walked in on Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) sleeping on Xander’s (Paul Telfer) shoulder in Victoria’s hospital room. Brady and Steve (Stephen Nichols) theorized that Owen could be Stephanie’s kidnapper. Paulina confided in Chanel (Raven Bowens) without revealing any details. Later, she assured EJ she won’t get in the way of him resurrecting Lexie.

Rafe (Galen Gering) and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) did a deep dive on Owen, then Steve asked Rafe for help, where they found out Stephanie’s call was in the hospital’s radius. Rafe suggested Cat helps, so Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) sought her out and the two broke into the lab. Rolf found Stephanie and Jeremy tied up and told EJ what he’d found. Jeremy asked Stephanie to dislocate his thumb so he could break free from the handcuffs.

When Kayla and Cat got into the lab, they found nothing. Owen overheard Brady telling Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) about him. Later, Brady and Steve spotted Owen and obtained him. Rafe asked Alex to help him find the secret entryway in the lab, while Jeremy and Stephanie freed themselves. When Stephanie felt cold and collapsed, Jeremy helped warm her up. Rafe found the pod while Alex barged in and found Stephanie and Jeremy. Cat confronted EJ about Stephanie’s kidnapping and it ended in a kiss.
