DAYS Spoilers Wild Speculation: Ava and EJ’s Rivalry Claims An Unexpected Casualty

DAYS spoilers tease that EJ DiMera is furious with Ava Vitale. Ava Vitale is furious with…the world. And now, it seems like they’re both about to make the biggest mistake of their lives. Ava has been spending way too much time listening to her dead son.

Charlie (Mike Manning) is either a ghost or Ava’s (Tamara Braun) subconscious, but in either case, he is encouraging Mommy Dearest to go dark. Very, very dark. Charlie has pretty much convinced Ava to take her share of Susan Banks’s (Stacy Haiduk) kidnapping revenue and go on the run — with little Henry as her sidekick.

Days of our Lives: Smash and Grab

Ava appears poised to snatch the tot when his mother, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), isn’t looking — which, let’s be honest, is most of the time. Considering how Ava didn’t get the chance to raise either Charlie or Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), we can almost sympathize with her fantasy of a cozy duo of her and her grandson, you and me against the world, living their lives out somewhere far away from Salem. Except for the part where it involved kidnapping.

DAYS Spoilers: Watch Out For That Curve

So it’s practically a given that Ava plans to abscond with little Henry. But it’s equally as likely that EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) will try to stop her — without knowing that Henry is involved. We can definitely see EJ arranging for Ava to have a little accident in her car…unaware that Henry is also a passenger. Are we looking at a scenario where, to avenge his family, EJ ends up killing his beloved Samantha Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) grandson?

DOOL Spoilers: Mother Lode

And what will this mean for Allie? Oh, sure, we can imagine her weeping copiously in the first few days. But considering she didn’t want the baby in the first place, left him behind after giving birth, and now only remembers he exists when she needs the excuse not to do something she doesn’t want to do in the first place, we can’t help thinking that, in the end, Allie will find losing Henry a relief.

She’ll never admit it publicly. But we’ll know. (Unless DAYS decides to shoot for a Daytime Emmy episode and does a stand-alone of Allie sobbing to her Grandma Marlena in therapy about how she feels oh, so guilty.)
