DAYS Spoilers Weekly Video Preview: Alex Arrives, Jake Is Shot

Here’s your Days of our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of July 25 – 29, 2022. It’s a week of surprises, both of the good and bad variety. On a high note, Robert Scott Wilson (ex-Ben Weston) is back in a brand new role. However, it looks like Brandon Barash’s tenure with the soap could be over when Jake ends up the victim of a mugging.

DOOL Spoilers: Meet Alex

Sonny (Zach Tinker) is in the Kiriakis living room reconnecting with his newly arrived big brother when Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) enters the scene. “Alexander Kiriakis,” says Alex, introducing himself to his new stepmom.

Then, the soap quickly addresses the elephant in the room – the fact that Robert Scott Wilson, who previously portrayed Ben, is now playing a member of the “K” clan. “I don’t know who I look like. The Necktie Killer?” cracks Alex, pulling a tie between his hands.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Confrontation in the Park

The lighthearted mood takes a sharp turn when across town, an unidentified man grabs Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) from behind in the park. He wraps his arm around her throat and sticks a gun in her back.

Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is on hand and tries to diffuse the situation. “Just let her go,” he says softly. But the guy won’t be deterred and doubles down. He points the gun at Nicole’s head. “No one has to get hurt,” Eric tries again.

Days of our Lives: Deadly Mugging?

The situation takes a turn for the worse when Jake (Brandon Barash) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) happen upon the scene, clearly in the wrong place at the wrong time. Playing the hero (much like his brother Stefan O. DiMera before him), Jake steps in front of Ava and inches toward the gunman.

Feeling threatened, the guy shoots a bullet into Jake. A stunned Jake clasps his hands to his stomach, realizing he’s been hit. It looks like it could be the end of the line for the DiMera heir. See it all for yourself in the Days of our Lives promo below.
