DAYS Spoilers Weekly Video Preview: A Set-Up, a Lie, and a Death Threat

EJ DiMera gets his day in court, after being set up as the fall guy in Sami Brady DiMera’s kidnapping. DAYS spoilers weekly video preview delivers the action with a dose of The People’s Court flair, and there’s even a witness for the prosecution who really riles things up.

Here’s your Days of our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of January 10 – January 14, 2021. While EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) looks like he doesn’t stand a chance of walking free after being framed by Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and his own brother, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), the DiMera mogul isn’t about to go down without a fight.

DOOL: Let the Proceedings Begin

Everyone gathers in court as the proceedings begin. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is on hand, as well as EJ’s son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), and sister-in-law, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller), who’s covering the case for The Spectator.

D.A. Trask (Tina Huang) is at her ruthless best, determined to bring EJ to justice. But EJ’s attorney, Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison), is just as determined to prove her client’s innocence.

DAYS Spoilers: Taking the Stand

EJ’s on trial for kidnapping his wife because she cheated on him with her ex, Lucas. Despite the evidence against him, EJ continues to adamantly profess his innocence. “Someone framed me,” he insists to Belle.

It’s the case of haughty, EJ, versus naughty, Lucas. When EJ takes the stand, he answers Belle’s and DA Trask’s questions, insisting he wasn’t the person who abducted Sami. He’d never do such a thing to his wife.

DOOL: Disorder in the Court

Then Lucas takes the stand to testify against his longtime rival. Lucas lays his hand on the bible and is sworn in. He promises to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Then he lies through his teeth and points the finger at EJ, knowing full well that he’s the real culprit.

EJ can’t control himself listening to Lucas’s blatant lies and finally erupts. He stands up, points at Lucas, and announces, “You kidnapped Samantha.” If that’s not enough to evoke the judge’s ire, EJ takes things a step further. “I’ll kill you,” he threatens Lucas.
