DAYS Spoilers Weekly Preview: Ben and Ciara Bliss, Marla Gibbs Debuts

After months of agony and heartache, Ben finally realizes his dream of reconciling with Ciara. And it’s pure bliss for the couple and “Cin” fans according to this week’s DAYS spoilers. Meanwhile, Allie and Tripp move forward with their relationship, although Chanel hovers in the distance, and someone receives a surprise visit from their mama. And she’s being played by sitcom legend Marla Gibbs.

Here’s your DAYS spoilers video preview for the week of August 16–20, 2021. By the looks of the teaser, things are going to get hot for a pair of couples and a big secret gets teased. But what can it be?

“Cin” Sizzles

“Is love in the afternoon too steamy?” begins the preview. The answer is a definite yes. Brace yourselves Ciara Brady and Ben Weston fans. Your favorite couple is in bed together.

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) kisses Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) shoulder and nuzzles his way up to her neck. Then, in the next shot, Ciara returns the favor, kissing Ben’s bare chest. It marks the first time the couple has been intimate in over a year.

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Three’s Company?

Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) hit the sheets too. But after Tripp dozes off to sleep, Allie has a vision of Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) lying next to her. It seems she can’t get her best friend out of her head, even though she’s decided to move on with Tripp.

DAYS Spoilers: Here Comes Marla Gibbs

Next up, Paulina Price gets a surprise visit from her mother, Olivia Price. And it’s a very familiar face. The role is being played by 227 and The Jeffersons star, Marla Gibbs.

“Are you going to invite your mama in?” asks Olivia as she stands outside her daughter’s front door. “Do I have a choice,” responds a stunned Paulina (Jackée Harry), who really doesn’t look very pleased to see her.

DOOL Spoilers: Mama’s Got A Secret

Viewers will quickly find out why. Well, sort of. Olivia later shares a reunion and a hug with her granddaughter, Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers). Afterward, Olivia and Paulina have a cryptic conversation about Lani, that reveals they’re keeping a mother of a secret.

“If you think you’re going to tell that child the truth, you’ve got another thing coming,” warns Olivia. By her tone, it’s pretty clear she’s deadly serious and so, apparently, is the secret she and Paulina are keeping.
