DAYS Spoilers Video Preview
As 2023 comes to a close, love is in the air throughout Salem. “Happy New Year, my love,” purrs Marlena (Deidre Hall) to John (Drake Hogestyn), as the couple pucker up for a kiss. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and EJ (Dan Feuerrigel) share a champagne toast and a smooch too, as do Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson).
And Heartache…
Things, however, aren’t going as swimmingly for Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackee Harry). “I’m sorry about last night,” he apologizes to the wife he can’t remember. Paulina looks over at him clearly disappointed.
Feels Like the First Time
Paulina’s daughter, Channel (Raven Bowens) on the other hand, is reconnecting with Johnny (Carson Boatman) in his bedroom in the DiMera mansion. However, it’s the first time the reunited duo have embarked on making love in a couple of years. “Why am I so nervous?” asks Chanel. “You never have to be nervous around me,” responds Johnny.
Tragedy at the Bistro
Meanwhile, at the big bash at The Bistro, Tate (Jamie Martin Mann) goes looking for his missing date, Holly (Ashley Puzemis). He finds her outside the restaurant collapsed on the ground, “Oh my God, Holly,” he cries out as he races toward her and finds her foaming at the mouth.
Things go from bad to worse, when a cop arrives on the scene and shines a flashlight on Tate. Then Rafe (Galen Gering) makes a phone call to Nicole about her unconscious daughter, Holly. “There was an incident here tonight,” he informs her. “She suffered a drug overdose.”
Nicole, who’s in bed with EJ, begins to cry. “We have to get to the hospital,” she tells EJ.
Fight for Survival
The situation looks dire for Holly. “We don’t even know yet if she’s going to pull through,” states Harris (Steve Burton).
All Tate can do is stand there in shock, as he watches Holly get carted away on a stretcher. Brady (Eric Martsolf) races onto the scene and toward him. “Son, tell me what happened,” says Brady. Tate shows his father a packet of pills he found next to Holly. Before Tate can say a word, a cop emerges and orders, “Hand over the bag.” It looks like Tate could be in a heap of trouble.
