Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is the main suspect in Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s murder and even she’s not sure if she’s guilty or not. She sets out to find the truth about what really happened that night. She, Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall), and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) work overtime to clear her name…if it should be cleared.
Abigail’s murder isn’t the only death stirring up trouble. Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) untimely passing has his ex-fiancé on the warpath. Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) takes on the DiMera clan with cohort Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) Why not? She has nothing better to do right now.
Meanwhile, little Shawn Christian’s fate is up in the air as Christian Maddox aka Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) await the paternity test results. Who is the father? And, what will happen when they find out? There are twists and turns on the way neither of these men will see coming.
Speaking of twists, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) stumbles upon a discovery that could change everything. She comes across Dr. Rolf running a series of experiments that leave her jaw on the floor. What is the mad scientist up to and how will it impact the lives of everyone in town?

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) struggle with Abigail’s death. Her loss cuts them both deeply. Chad does his best to console his son but is it enough?
Orpheus (James Read) has a surprising request for Marlena. He needs her help but will he get it? Surely, Marlena has better things to do than getting mixed up with this criminal.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) warns John Black (Drake Hogestyn) that they need to take drastic action against Orpheus. He’s right but what can they do to stop him? They need a plan.
Shawn and Evan wait for the results of the paternity test. This is going to be a defining moment in both their lives.

Kristen watches anxiously as Rolf tries to work his magic. This doctor may be an absolute maniac but it’s what makes him better than all the rest.
