Maggie Horton Kiriakis was about to direct Xander Cook and Sarah Horton to say their vows on Days of our Lives when newly sworn-in policewoman Jada Hunter burst in and announced she needed to talk to Sarah about Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s murder.

Xander (Paul Telfer) basically told Jada (Elia Cantu) to hold that thought, they’d just tie the knot quickly and then…but Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) pointed out she wouldn’t exactly be focused on saying, I Do if there was a cop standing off in her peripheral field of vision. Xander insisted on convincing her. Is he doing the right thing?

Let the poor woman breathe, 44% of you instruct a love-struck Xander. She’s been through so much, it’s amazing her head isn’t constantly spinning. She’s barely processed her kidnapping, the reminder of her baby daughter’s death, your engagement to another woman, and now Abby’s (Marci Miller) death. If she wants to clear her name of murder before becoming Mrs. Cook, we say, let her!
Days of our Lives Time Enough To Last
Forget about Sarah, 33% of fans dismiss, what about us? We have waited so long for this wedding! This is a couple that’s been through multiple obstacles, and we need the closure of them finally marrying even more than puppy dog-eyed Xander. Give us what we need! Jada can have herself a seat and wait.

Do you want Sarah to associate your wedding with being arrested, 23% of the audience demands of Xander? Think it through, man. You want your special day to be absolutely perfect — as opposed to all the other weddings you’ve been in that went off the rails. Read the room. And listen to your fiancée. Women like that. And viewers want a wedding where we can relax and bask in your love. Not keep wondering what horrible thing will happen next.
