It’s a busy day at the Kiriakis mansion. Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) plays nice with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) feels the love, and Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) returns and delivers tear-inducing news. Maggie’s time away was anything but sunshine and rainbows. It was full of heartbreak and sorrow.
Philip has quite a time outside of all that drama. He meets up with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and then has it out with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). Just wait until you see the mind games. These will be scenes you don’t want to miss.
Meanwhile, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) strikes a deal with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Will this be something he is sure to regret? Probably. But, for now, this scheme may just work for everyone.
At the same time, Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) updates Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) about the hospital happenings. Whatever she says must set Steve off because he suits up, turns up at the condo, and puts Belle Black (Martha Madison) on alert.
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
More than fifty of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this NBC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
