Love is in the air for the fresh-faced young couples of Salem. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) romances Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) with a flirty brunch. They talk, they bat their eyelashes and share a hot and heavy lip-lock. It’s too bad Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) walks in and ruins the vibe.

Paulina also accidentally interrupts a sweet moment between Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). It’s all good though, Tripp will fill his gal in on what he was going to say later. And, yes, she is going to want to hear it.

As for Paulina, she continues her apology tour, this time saying sorry to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Ripping up the square was a pretty awful thing to do, especially when it came to nearly destroying the plaque. It’s back where it belongs now, hopefully for good.

Julie makes nice with Paulina but will she offer the same kindness to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien)? Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is all forgiveness but Julie may not be. Not only was Gwen lying (more than they know), but bringing drugs into the house?

Days of our Lives spoilers tease Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) keeps his promise to go down for Gwen’s crimes. He’s at the station and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) grills him hard. Will the detective detect all the holes in his story?

DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
