Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) may eat his words when his brother does a 180 and goes from major player to man in love overnight. Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is smitten with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), and he’s showing off his romantic side.
Sonny may be on edge about this twist, but we’re sure girlfriends Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) feel relieved. At least he won’t bother them anymore. Now, they can concentrate on more important things, like repairing Allie’s relationship with her grandma.
Speaking of Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), she heads to the pub after playing nice to Allie. She’s there to join the Carvers and celebrate Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). Unfortunately, the dinner date isn’t going to end well for anyone.
No sooner does everyone get to mealtime than Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) shows up. He has some things to say and demands everyone listen. Will he reveal a lead for John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) can use to find their kidnapped wives? Poor Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) definitely need help!
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
