The Devil continues tormenting Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) and her nightmares (are they nightmares) put John Black (Drake Hogestyn) on high alert. So much so, he calls Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) over. Will Roman and John figure out what’s really going on with Marlena?
Meanwhile, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) talk about their future. Given the green light by Marlena (really the Devil) to try for a baby without worry of passing on mental illness, they’re all about trying and trying to make a baby.
Turning up the heat is Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). Does this mean a true reunion is coming? Sure, Chad cheated but Abigail knows where his heart is. He still loves her and that’s what matters.
Also celebrating their love are Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). The newly engaged couple kiss, hug, and share a touching toast with Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
More than fifty of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this NBC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
