Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) isn’t about to watch her bestie’s life implode without having her say. She heads right to the hospital for a word with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams). Of course, it goes exactly the way you think it does. On the upside, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel may discover they don’t need men at all, not even for romance.

Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) continues trying to talk sense into Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), but her pleas fall on deaf ears. Chad’s stance is perfectly clear. Plus, even if he did want to relent, JoDevil is right there to make sure that will never happen.

Speaking of Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), he gets a visit from his grandma. Grab your popcorn as the Devil puts on an Oscar-winning performance to trick Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk). Satan can’t afford to have this Nana getting in his way.

Later, tensions rise again between Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Chad. He shows up at the office to find her still in the big seat. That’s the last place he wants her to be, but that’s too bad. Gabi knows her place and it’s at the top! But for how long, if Chad has his way? Meanwhile, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) hits up the Weston house to lick his wounds and vent to his good buddy Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).
