It’s Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) wedding day but she will not be a blushing bride for very long. Sure, she makes it to the altar but it all goes wrong from there. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) interrupts and blows her million-dollar secret out of hot water. And, what’s worse, is Calista Lockhart’s (Cady Huffman) body is found. Uh-oh! This is not going to be good.
Poor Bonnie goes from lifting her veil to being in cuffs. By the end of the night, Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) haul her off to a jail cell. Poor Justin Kiriakis’s (Wally Kurth) world will fall apart as the hits just keep on coming.
Justin’s love life may be in the dumps, but it looks like Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) is picking up. He and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) share a lovely dinner with the Grants and then cherish their alone time when the detectives head to the wedding mess. It looks like Paulina and Abe are back on track. It’s too bad her secret is lurking between them.
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
More than fifty of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this NBC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
