The DAYS spoilers for May 23 – May 27, 2022, tease a marriage proposal, a life’s purpose being stripped away, and so much more. This will be a week you won’t want to miss!
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) pops the question, and to say that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) is surprised would be an understatement. Rafe theorizes that Nicole’s hesitancy in accepting has something to do with her dormant feelings for Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), but she assures him that that isn’t the case. He likewise assures her that he’s not proposing because he’s scared that she’ll go running back to her ex-husband.
Opposite this, Eric reveals to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) that he’s been drummed out of the priesthood. Turns out they’re none too pleased to hear that Eric performed not one but two unsanctioned exorcisms. Funny that.
Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) wants to be in business with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) — sorry DiMera bros! — and he also makes it crystal clear that he wouldn’t mind mixing said business with a bit of pleasure. Gabi seems game enough, but her subconscious only has eyes for Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). The feeling is mutual; don’t tell Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
In other DAYS spoilers news, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) shares a warm moment with Clyde Weston (James Read), EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) catch Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) in an embrace, and a dejected Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) turns to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) for help — and hopefully, it’s only her baking expertise that he’s interested in!
Meanwhile, Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) guilt over throwing her mother Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) under the bus and driving over her threatens to upend Lani’s very existence.
Finally, DOOL spoilers warn that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is still on the warpath and no one, not even Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) is safe from his wrath. Look for the scoundrel to continue in his efforts to convince Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to help him revenge himself on the ones who hurt him.
