The DAYS spoilers for Wednesday, September 7, 2022, tease a day of romance for an uber-popular pairing, political ponderings, a clear and present danger, and the reading of the riot act. You won’t want to miss a minute of this brand-new episode.
Now that he’s rescued her from a madman’s clutches — and not for the first time — John Black (Drake Hogestyn) takes it upon himself to treat his beloved to their signature delights: strawberries with cream and champagne.
And sure, the romantic habit’s origins date back to when Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) was being courted by Roman Brady but seeing as how John — during the decade he spent as ersatz Roman — also usurped Roman’s nickname for his missus — Doc — it’s not really that weird. Okay, it is weird, but fans just go with it. We’re easy like that.
Something that isn’t going to prove easy is the hero’s inevitable triumph over the nefarious Milo Harp, alias Orpheus (George DelHoyo) — especially now that he’s got Dr. Wilhelm “I Can Resurrect Almost Any Character Except The Ones You Really Want Saved” Rolf (Richard Wharton) on his side.

Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) has got some news for Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry). It relates to the former’s campaign for governor, and it’s not exactly good. Why can’t life ever be easy for poor put-upon Abe? It would be understandable if the man had ever sinned, but all he does is unjustly suffer.
Look for Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to get all up in Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) grill, presumably over his recent cowboy antics. Apparently, papa Marcus didn’t warn her about Steve’s penchant for getting the job done himself.
