Thanks to Dr. Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) and her mastery of the practical magic that is hypnosis, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) slowly but surely remembers the night that Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) met her untimely end.

Turns out he did indeed venture to the DiMera mansion, and he did indeed have a letter opener in his hand…but before you label him the soused stabber of his sister Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) daughter, prepare yourself…Lucas wasn’t the only person stalking the mansion’s hallways!

Opposite the memory recovery discussed above, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) avails himself, and his shoulder particularly, to grieving widower Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). What else are friends for?

It’s a fact that a Salem wedding cannot proceed without at least one interruption, so Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) really should have seen Detective Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) poorly timed entrance coming. Honestly, when are engaged people going to learn to marry out of state? How many more ceremonies must be ruined?

Speaking of wedding disasters, the crapshow that was Lucas and Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) aborted nuptials doesn’t seem to have put a damper on Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) affection for the institution that is marriage.

He quite liked being married to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), and since he’s no longer possessed by the Devil who was put off by his former bride, Johnny thinks it’s high time the two of them get re-hitched. But what will Chanel make of the suggestion? And, more importantly, what will Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), Chanel’s other ex and Johnny’s twin sister — and another host for Lucifer — have to say about it?
