Having heard through the grapevine that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is being held on suspicion of murder, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), brother of the murder victim, makes his way to the police station in order to have a talk with the accused — who just so happens to be his uncle. And by talk, you should read: violent confrontation.

Opposite this, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) implores Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) to don her psychist hat and help Lucas recover his memories from the night that Abigail died. And sure, the request is in bad taste, considering that Lucas held Marlena’s daughter hostage for three months, but a mother will do anything for her child.

Seeing as how he’s already admitted the truth to just about everybody except the one person who really needs to hear it, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) readies himself to come clean to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) about the role he played in sending him up the river — so to speak. Will EJ greet the revelation with magnanimity, or will he declare war on his brother?

In a retread of a story penned for Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) from years back, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) gets the opportunity of a lifetime to head to Hollywoodland and make a name for himself, and you’d better bet that he’s gung-ho to take it. But how is Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) going to feel about his hubs jetting off to another state? And doesn’t Will have a job at a newspaper in Arizona? What’s going to happen with that?
