The DAYS spoilers for Thursday, December 2, 2021, tease a doubting Thomasina, a test of loyalty, a much-anticipated conversation, and more. You won’t want to miss a minute of this all-new episode.
In Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) world, people only change for the better. Bad guys turned good never backslide, and good guys certainly never do anything wrong – especially beat their wives. Therefore, she’s not buying the story that Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) is selling – even if hubby Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is falling for it hook, line, and sinker.
But, what’s a girl who’s agreed to accompany Ben and Marlena on a quest for safety to do? Confront Marlena and tell her that she doesn’t believe her story? Attempt to convince Ben to abandon the only other person who’s ever gone to bat for him? Or, should she just suppress her suspicion and carry on as if nothing is amiss?
Perhaps the young woman should ask herself, WWJWD – What Would Julie Williams Do? Because we all know that no filter Julie would just call BS on Marlena’s story, and apologize (much, much) later if she turned out to be wrong.
In the meantime, Marlena’s Salem-based loved ones – John Black (Drake Hogestyn) in particular – frantically search for her. Luckily for John, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) – who’s seen the Devil residing in Marlena and lived to tell the tale – is ready, willing, and able to tell him all about the fateful encounter she had with his wife.
Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) may have been able to pull off the whole trusting boyfriend routine, but he’s still dead certain that his girlfriend is a cheating, cheater who cheated on him. Look for him to arrange a setup that will put Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), and her fidelity, to the test.
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) presumably haven’t had any contact with one another since the former’s wedding that wasn’t. But that’s about to change. Get out your hankies folks, these two are having a good old-fashioned heart-to-heart talk.
