Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is a terrible person, an evil person. She’s just plain rotten, and she’s set her bonnet at Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). And sure, she lied to him and hid his true love from him, but Gwen’s pretty sure that she can make up for all that and more — if only Xander would give her the chance…or the time of day. But Xander’s much too smart to do that…right?

Meanwhile, Dr. Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) gets down to the business of what she does best: hypnotizing people so that they might find out together whether or not the hypnotized is a cold-blooded murderer. Will this particular session clear Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), or will it call her character further into question?

Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) might have agreed to go along with Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) hair-brained scheme, but she makes it clear that if she’s expected to play the part of Mrs. Jake DiMera, then she expects some things in return. Big things. Things that Gabi might not be happy giving her.

This is not Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) first rodeo. In point of fact, he’s pumped life back into many a corpse, so why should Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) be any different? And why should Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) be worried? Hasn’t Rolf always come through for her in the end? The man’s methods may be mad — hell, the man himself is surely mad — but they, and he, get results!
