Days of our Lives Spoilers Video Preview: Demise of Two Duos?

Two couples –- one, that’s been inching toward the end of the line for months; another, that only recently reconciled –- could be over and done, this week according to the latest Days of our Lives spoilers preview. While viewers are likely expecting a Kristen and Brady breakup, they’re bound to be shocked by the unforeseen circumstances that suddenly threaten Jake and Gabi’s second chance at happiness.

Here’s your Days of our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of May 24 – 28, 2021. By the looks of the teaser, it’s going to be action-packed.

Toxic Desire

Brady (Eric Martsolf) finally has it out with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), who’s been masquerading as Susan, while threatening and harming the people he loves. Tops on the list is his ex-wife, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), who Kristen’s tucked away somewhere in her latest fit of jealous rage.

The pair face off in his hospital room, where Brady takes a bold stand against Kristen. “This obsession that you have with me. It is enough!” he yells. “I can’t be with you anymore.” A teary-eyed Kristen can only tremble, realizing she’s pushed the man she loves to the breaking point. He can’t forgive the heinous actions she proclaims to do in the name of love.

Viewers ultimately see Kristen driving off alone. Is she making her getaway out of Salem before she can be arrested and returned to prison? It clearly looks that way.

Ruined Reunion

Meanwhile, the recently reunited Jake (Brandon Barash) and Gabi (Camila Banus) are about to face a problem they never saw coming. But first, Gabi happily rambles on to someone about the state of their relationship. “Jake and I, we got back together,” she reveals, eagerly. “He’s going to tell Kate about us when she wakes up.”

It becomes a case of “be careful what you wish for,” when the comatose Kate (Lauren Koslow) suddenly does wake up, just as Jake and Gabi are sharing a passionate kiss in her hospital room. However, the surprise is on Jake and Gabi, not Kate.

As Kate opens her eyes and seemingly tries to focus on who’s in the room with her, she can’t. “Jake, I can’t see,” she calls out. Gabi and Jake are shocked, knowing the situation is surely going to derail their plans to be together. Obviously, Kate is going to totally need Jake now more than ever.
