The Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, April 9, 2021, tease a steamy reunion between a former husband and wife, a complicated police investigation, and a victimized villain coming face to face with her assailant.

Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) has something to confess. No, not that. We’re really, really sure that she didn’t kill anybody – this time! This confession is more of the searingly personal variety.

It turns out that her husband, you know, the one who’s been recuperating from being forced back into the land of the living and then surviving a fire that burned nearly his entire body…he’s just not that into her anymore. In fact, he hasn’t touched her in months.

But Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) isn’t so cautious. Not only does he touch his ex, but he pulls her into a series of happily reciprocated smooches. Neither knows exactly what they’re doing…well they know. But they don’t “know know.”

A Game Of Catch Up

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is a busy little bee. As soon as he eliminates one suspect in the murder of Charlie Dale (Mike Manning), another one takes their place…but who’s in the hot seat now?

Must be Tripp (Lucas Adams), seeing as how desperate Allie (Lindsay Arnold) is to protect him from any and all suspicion. But just exactly how far does the young woman intend to go?

(Forced) Greetings And Salutations

John (Drake Hogestyn) has a tense encounter with Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) – his would-be victim. Mr. Black isn’t the least bit impressed by the quid-pro-quo arrangement being drawn up between the villainess and his daughter, because if he had his druthers, he’d simply be going to prison for attempted murder.
