The Powers That Be must know that, too, because they’ve recast the role with Dan Feuerriegel. Which means the love of Sami’s life is headed back to Salem. Which means trouble…

Loving Lucas
A smaller 25% of the audience voted for Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). He was Sami’s first love. Even when she refused to admit it.
Lucas has been there for Sami through her craziest moments, and he was always there to pick up the pieces when EJ let her down. If this latest version proves a disappointment yet again, we know where Sami will be turning. (We also know whose heart she’ll eventually end up breaking, but, hey, the Lumi fans can dream!)
The One That Got Away
The reason that Sami ignored Lucas for so long before EJ was because she was obsessed with his big brother, Austin. Sami claimed that Austin was Will’s father, and kept him away from Carrie, to boot. She put the most effort into snagging Austin, which is why 11% believe he’s the true love of her life.
Of course, the reason that only 11% voted for Austin may have to do with the fact that he rarely gave Sami the time of day. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
