Two soap stars from General Hospital and one from Days of our Lives are teaming up for a new thriller that will be airing on Lifetime this coming summer — and if you thought they had dramatic stories on their respective shows, just wait until you see what’s in store for them here.

Arianne Zucker Joins GH Stars

The DAYS actress has certainly done her share of woman-in-jeopardy films but now it will be young Scarlett Fernandez (Charlotte, GH) in big trouble. This is nothing new for the pint-sized star as Charlotte has certainly faced her fair share of drama already — especially when she was kidnapped by psycho Cassandra (Jessica Tuck).

Joining these two ladies in their new thriller is fresh-off-GH star Coby Ryan McLaughlin, who dazzled fans of the ABC soap with his ability to smarm it up as cult leader Shiloh. According to Michael Fairman, he will be playing a billionaire this time around (Shiloh’s fondest wish), but he’ll be just as smarmy as ever. This time, he’ll have Zucker as his wife. Trouble arises in the form of the nanny.

This nanny happens to have a Harvard education and she doesn’t like it when the billionaire hits on her — and doesn’t take no for an answer. The nanny then teams up with Zucker’s character to take him down — or at least it seems that way. Anything can happen and probably will. Look for the new film to premiere in July.

Soaps Heat Up

While McLaughlin’s character may no longer be in Port Charles, his death and actions prior continue to have an impact — especially with his surprise marriage to bad girl Nelle (Chloe Lanier), who now wields the ELQ shares he inherited from Oscar (Garren Stitt). She’s stirring things up with the Quartermaines, while Charlotte is devastated that Nina (Cynthia Watros) and her papa Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) didn’t marry.

Over in Salem, Zucker’s Nicole thought she was so smart telling Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) that she was with Brady (Eric Martsolf) now — that is until she blabbed to Eric (Greg Vaughan), whose anger appeared to have subsided towards Nicole until he heard that news. Will Ericole reunite? Stay tuned.
