On Days of our Lives, Nicole seemed to have misplaced her heart when she chose to hold the truth about his child from Eric, costing him a year with her. But actress Arianne Zucker showed how big her heart is this past weekend when she welcomed into her home a new family member — a rescue dog!
Arianne Zucker: New Family Member
It all started when the star announced her plans on Instagram for this past Saturday — volunteering at Big Dog Day Adoption Event at White Cloud Ranch for the Animal Hope and Wellness Organization.
“Looking forward to volunteering today to help find homes for these precious pups! Make a doggie’s Holiday Merry by giving them a wonderful home! ❤️ @animalhopeandwellness @shawnchristian,” she wrote. And it looks like she took her words quite seriously because she followed up that post with another — a picture of two dogs.
Twice As Nice
“Welcoming Bunny (left) into our home from @animalhopeandwellness Luke (right) is happy to snuggle! @shawnchristian,” she wrote. This is pretty awesome since sometimes the adjustment for new dogs takes a bit longer. But it looks like Luke has welcomed Bunny with open paws and will be a good doggy brother.

Zucker was sure to let fans know that even if they couldn’t attend the event, there was still a way they could help out the dogs. She shared a picture of herself with a gorgeous pooch saying, “@animalhopeandwellness This is Grayson! If you can’t adopt a dog today you can donate here.”
Days of our Lives Heats Up
Meanwhile, life in Salem seems to be heating up for Nicole. Spoilers reveal that she seems to have finally taken to heart that Eric meant what he said when he announced they were over after she waited a year to tell him the truth about daughter Mickey.
