Soap Opera News: A Legend Passes
Daytime legend Lee Phillip Bell passed away at the age of 91. Cast members from the CBS daytime community paid tribute to the television pioneer, who co-created The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful with her late husband William J. Bell.
Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe, Days) is heading back to work on the NBC soap, after being written off the show in 2019. Also scheduled to reappear on the Salem soap soon are Thaao Penghlis and Leann Hunley, who were last seen as Tony and Anna in scenes in Prague.
The Comeback Kid

Movies and Moonlighting
Things are about to get thrilling — in a bad way — for Mishael Morgan (Amanda, Y&R) and Bree Williamson (ex-Claudette, GH). The duo are co-starring in Lifetime movie, A Killer in My Home.
Meanwhile, DAYS alumna Vanessa Williams (ex-Valerie) is set to appear in the new Jordan Peele film Candyman, and Carolyn Hennesy, who portrays mob lawyer Diane on GH, is guest-starring on CBS sitcom Mom.
Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa, DAYS) shared some happy family news. She and her husband, Jason, are officially able to adopt their second son.
Speaking of babies, DAYS’ Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) is a proud new grandmother. The actress posted photos of her adorable little grandson.
